What's This?

On Monday, HBO unleashed a behind-the-scene featurette that displays the work of the cameramen responsible for bringing the medieval fantasy epic TV series Game of Thrones to life. It’s a fascinating way to witness the effort involved in crafting the twisting-and-turning of the show, and fans have the opportunity to look at the latest footage from the forthcoming season 6.

As stated by the Hollywood Reporter, the behind-the-scene video will show that there were forces gathering in Westeros. From large-scale armies to smaller reunions, like Daavos Seaworth (commonly called the Onion Knight) and Melisandre the Red Priestess (also known as The Red Woman), both of whom were last spotted on the Wall – they were all seen in the short video.

There are also several exciting glimpses at the new season. Fans of Game of Thrones, who have been tracking spoilers, will surely be aware about what the gathering of soldiers (seen several times in the video) would mean for the next season.

As pointed out by the Watchers On The Wall, Daario Naharis (played by Dutch actor Michiel Huisman) and Jorah Mormont (portrayed by the Scottish film and stage actor Iain Glen) were spotted in behind-the-scenes featurette. Both characters were going for the hunt for their “beloved” Khaleesi.

He still looks handsome as he saild on a ship. Peter Dinklage, the actor and comedian portraying the much-loved character of Tyrion Lannister, was also present on the set of Game of Thrones season 6.

The executive producers of the upcoming Game of Thrones season 6 are David Benioff, D.B. Weiss, Carolyn Strauss, Frank Doelger and Bernadette Caulfield. While Guymon Casady, Vince Gerardis and George R.R. Martin are the co-executive producers The Game of Thrones season 6 which is set for ten new episodes will return on HBO on April 24.
