The typically timid and shy 2-year-old boy Jack Jack, who has autism, fell in love with Snow White in a Disney-inspired theme park in Orlando, which made him an instant internet sensation.
This, after a video showing him mesmerized by the lady Snow White, was uploaded by her mother online. It was in November last year when Jack Jack’s family visited the Walt Disney World in Orlando but only recently that his mother, Amanda Coley, uploaded the video YouTube.
In the video posted on YouTube, Amanda noted that Jack Jack is a non-verbal kid and usually appeared shy when interacting with many people. But Coley said she saw a different Jack Jack on their visit. The boy was cheerful and seemed comfortable with the lady wearing the Snow White costume.
“He was having nothing to do with any of the characters on our Disney vacation in November. You see, he has autism and is non-verbal. He is on the shy side with people he does not know. THEN… he met Snow White. I must have cried 1000 tears watching his interaction with her. He was in love,” Amanda wrote in the video description uploaded on YouTube.
Amanda added that Jack Jack would usually watch the video of him with Snow White for several times in a row, even reaching 18 times, which is unusual for him since he doesn’t usually like watching TV shows or videos.
The Coley family has three sons, two of whom have autism. In the hype of the recent attention Jack Jack has been getting, the Coley family has set up an advocacy page on Facebook to raise public awareness of autism called Disney Adventure & Austim.
