‘Blindspot’ Season 2 Update: Archie Panjabi of ‘Good Wife’ Joins Cast
There will be a lot of big changes happening as “Blindspot” enters its second season. One of the additions to the “Blindspot” family is actress Archie Panjabi of “Good Wife” fame, who will be working against Jane Doe!Advertisement
All eyes are on Jane Doe as her secret is now out in the open. Weller already knows that Jane Doe is not his childhood friend, Taylor Shaw, as his father confessed to killing Shaw in the finale of “Blindspot” Season 1.
It is only a matter of time before the rest of the team also comes to know about this information.
However, amidst all the secrets and conspiracy, ‘Blindspot’ Season 2 will reveal that another government agency – the NSA – already had their eyes on Jane Doe from the very beginning.
Heading this classified mission would be none other than Archie Panjabi, who shot to fame through her role as investigator Kalinda Sharma, in “Good Wife,” reports Deadline.
Archie Panjabi has also worked in shows such as “Power Monkeys”, “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” and “The Jury” in the past. The last one was a much-promising crime-thriller that was launched by ABC but got cancelled after the pilot got poor reception, TVLine reports. In the ill-fated series, Archie was all set to play “a force of nature cloaked in a professional demeanor.”
Except the fact that her character might go head to head with Jane Doe, not much else is known about Archie Panjabi’s role in “Blindspot” Season 2.
‘Blindspot’ Season 2 Release Date
Regardless, it seems like Jane Doe is going to have her hands full in the upcoming season, what with trying to win back Weller’s trust and proving that she did not kill Mayfair.
Will the new head of NSA, played by Archie Panjabi, create additional problems for her?
Find out when ‘Blindspot’ Season 2 returns on Wednesdays, starting 14th September 2016, only on NBC.
