There have been rumors about Blake Shelton cheating on Gwen Stefani, but the songstress tried to play down the rumors by posting images of her and Shelton kissing during a lunch date at Joan’s on Third in LA on Friday afternoon.
Although earlier this week Stefani claimed to be on cloud nine, according to sources, Shelton was caught meeting his former wife Miranda Lambert while Stefani was thousands of miles away.
According to a report by the Radar Online, Blake Shelton reunited with Lambert at a Nashville Gala, where he waited for his ex backstage and complimented her on her looks and her new song “Vice.” He also, reportedly asked her if they can have a private talk.
Since Stefani was thousands of miles away, he soothed her down by saying he avoided Lambert.
“Blake said he’s been carrying around a ton of emotional baggage and guilt since they divorced last summer,” the source said. ‘He told her he regressed how their split became so nasty, and even suggested he wished their marriage could have worked out. He also told Miranda he misses her!”
If rumors are to go by, the alleged union with Lambert can spoil Stefani and Shelton’s marriage plans. The couple, who will complete one year of their relationship in November, even thought of having the proposal on one of the episode of “The Voice,” where they first met.
The couple was recently spotted cuddling and kissing while on a lunch date in L.A. on Friday. Despite the turmoils in their relationship, Shelton still shares a close bonding with Stefani and her ex Gavin Rossdale’s kids, Zuma, Kingston, and Apollo. The couple also recently enjoyed a fun-filled outing with the children at the Disneyland in Anaheim, CA, the Popsugar reported.
Rossdale also recently spoke of moving on during an interview. “It’s like enough already,” he told the Sunday Times. “I’ve got to move on. Everyone has got to move on . . . For me, it’s just thinking about the boys and how to prioritize them. That’s the driving force behind everything . . . Somehow you have to put one foot after the other and make it happen.”
