What's This?

Get ready to take a bloody trip to Rapture and Columbia once more. A new trailer for BioShock: The Collection has been uploaded by 2K Games.

The collection includes the remastered version of BioShock, and based on the trailer, the original game is sporting better graphics and smoother frame rates. The remastered version has already been confirmed to run at 1080p/60fps, as confirmed by a 2K representative to GameSpot.

BioShock: The Collection includes the following:

  • BioShock
  • BioShock 2
  • BioShock Infinite
  • All games’ downloadable content

Fans should note, however, that multiplayer in BioShock 2 will not be included in the bundle. Also, BioShock Infinite will not be remastered. According to the developers, the original version “already meets current-gen console standards and runs smoothly on high visual settings.”

Good news for PC players, though. They may be able to get The Collection for free if they already have the first and second game, as well as Minerva’s Den BioShock 2 DLC on Steam. They only need to acquire the upgrade for the remastered version of the first two games.

BioShock: The Collection is scheduled to launch in North America on September 13 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. International launch date is scheduled on September 16.

Here’s the trailer, inviting us to “Revisit Rapture.” And we soon will.
