Bindi Irwin Has To Prove Father’s Death To Claim ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Income

Being a minor can make one have difficulty acquiring hard-earned income. Bindi Irwin, who is currently appearing on “Dancing with the Stars,” is asked to prove that her father is dead in order to claim the money from the show.

A judge has ruled that she will have to prove her father’s death or else submit a letter from her father stating he has no right on her income. It is mentioned, “The court is unable to find that it is in the best interest of the minor to be bound by the terms of the contract.”

Bindi Irwin, the daughter of the late Steve Irwin, the crocodile hunter, is asked to produce proof of her father’s death in front of the judge. She has already acquired an income of $230,000 from the show, which will be increasing as she progresses. Steve died in 2006 following an attack by a stingray. His death was reported worldwide, but it seems that the judge is unaware.

Her income for participation was $125,000, and it increases every episode. Once she gets to the third and fourth week, she acquires $10,000 per week. That increased to $15,000 for week five and $20,000 for week six and seven. She has currently made it to week eight, acquiring $30k, and if she goes to week 10, she will receive $50k per week. The lawyers of the show have said that they will help Irwin in all possible manners.
