Those who loved Steve Irwin know Bindi Irwin, and the cute and adorable little Bindi is now a confirmed contestant of “Dancing With the Stars” Season 21. Find out more details of the show below.
The 17 years old wildlife conservationist will be part of the show that’s going to premiere on September 14 this year.
Bindi Irwin mentioned in the ABC reality series’ Facebook page, “I am unbelievably thrilled and truly blessed to be in the City of Angels to be part of this season of Dancing with the Stars.”
As mentioned by Yahoo News, Irwin said, “This is completely different to anything I have ever done in my life.” She considers herself to be honoured to be part of the prestigious show.
Irwin is going to stay in Los Angeles during the show and would look forward to support from her family, mom, Terri, and younger brother, Robert.
Irwin mentioned that she is quite nervous about dancing and judges scare her more than crocodiles. In her words, “They are so knowledgeable. They’re supreme athletes,” she added, “I’m just this girl from Australia who’s used to crocs so give me a 15-foot crocodile any day.”
The teenager Irwin has a dance troop of her own, “The Jungle Girls.” She says she will try hard to do her best in “Dancing with the Stars” season 21.
She went on further by saying that strength and courage is very important. Her hopes is that she can inspire others to take on life and take opportunities as they come their way. “Just jump, take that leap, even if it terrifies you,” Irwin said.
Now, about animals, she said she hopes her dance partner will have the same passion for animals as she has. She mentioned that she intends on bringing some to the dance rehearsals.
Will crocs be part of the act? Let’s find out soon.
