According to Melania Trump, Billy Bush has humiliated Donald Trump and rightly deserves to take the heat for pushing the Republican nominee to get raunchy in the audio wreck.
For the first time, Melania has addressed about the leaked audio publicly since it has come out. In an interview with Anderson Cooper she lets it all out on Bush.
Echoing her words from the her first statement when the tape leaked out, she said, “I, I said to my husband that you know the language was unappropriate (sic). It’s not acceptable and I was surprised, because that is not the man that I know. Melania insisted that, “he was lead on. Like egged on from the host to say uh dirty and bad stuff.”
When Cooper clarified whether it was the host,Billy Bush, who is to be held responsible for “egging on him”, she said, “Yes. Yes.”
Radar Online reported that Billy Bush was done officially as the host of TODAY Show on NBC. Marshal Grossman, Billy’s attorney, said, “We have reached a settlement that is mutually acceptable to both sides. The terms are confidential and I am not at liberty to discuss those terms. But both parties have agreed and are okay with the settlement.”
Noah Oppenheim, TODAY’s chief executive, has confirmed Billy Bush’s exit this afternoon in an internal memo which read: “Dear Colleagues, Billy Bush will be leaving the TODAY show 9am hour, effective today. While he was a new member of the TODAY team, he was a valued colleague and longtime member of the entire NBC family. We wish him success as he goes forward.”
Melania Trump has also put into question the intentions of Bush when the tape was recorded.
While defending her husband’s reputation she said, “And as you can see from the tape, the cameras were not on. It was only a mic.” She added, “And I wonder if they even knew that the mic was on. Because they were kind of, ah, boy talk.”
Billy Bush was suspended last week from the TODAY Show after a tape from 2005, of him and Donald Trump, Republican presidential candidate, making lewd remarks on women surfaced the media.
