As Big Hero 7 is being awaited patiently by fans across the world, information on the movie’s cast and the possible plot are still scarce. The latest in the line of rumors is that the sequel to the Academy award-winning Big Hero 6 will have Tadashi as the new villain.
Tadashi’s sudden death is a significant part in the movie’s plot, which spurred up the subsequent incidents and led to that what came to be known as Big Hero 6. It would indeed be hard for fans to accept Tadashi, a character that was developed to personify someone who could be looked up to, as the new villain named Sunfire.
The rumors around the possibilities of Tadashi morphing into a villain in the upcoming Big Hero 6 sequel is one above the speculations over a probable crossover with X-men. However, creator Stan Lee expressed doubts on the prospects of fielding the movie with the possible crossover, the Bit Bag reported.
The Toronto Sun reported that Lee said he has no idea about how the makers of the movie will decide on their next move, especially when the movies are so distinctly different in character and storyline. “I don’t even know how they decide what to do next, because every one of them is so exciting and the public is waiting for them,” he said.
The Bit Bag reported that Sunfire and X-men share a longstanding history which led many to draw the hypothesis. According to the guesswork that has been doing the rounds, the next movie will institute the link between the two characters. But until producers release plot details, these Big Hero 7 speculations should be taken with a grain of salt.
According to a report by the Movie News Guide, Big Hero 7 will be released after the Guardians of the Galaxy 2. However, it will not be before 2019, as it does not appear on the list of Disney Movies to be released in the next four years as reported by Business Insider.
