Rates have also dropped for adjustable rate loans. The best rate Chase advertises for a 5/1 adjustable rate mortgage is 3.125% for five years with an APR of 3.050%, while a 7/1 ARM is published at 3.250% for seven years with an APR of 3.147%.
Chase has also lowered rates for popular refinance loans. A 30-year refinance mortgage rate is quoted at 4.250% with a corresponding APR of 4.302%. A 15-year refi loan is published at 3.375% with an APR of 3.538%. Homeowners can lock into a 5/1 adjustable rate mortgage today as low as 3.250% with an APR of 3.074%. A 7/1 refinance ARM is published at 3.375% for seven years with an APR of 3.185%.
