Best Buy Launches Live Chat Service On Mobile Thru BlueAssist, Puts Gift Ideas On Sale

Best Buy is constantly thinking up of ways to make customers’ lives easier. Recently, it has come up with the one thing mobile shoppers may need the most: live chat assistance.


Best Buy calls this new service BlueAssist, and it was developed with the retailer’s mobile app users in mind. Best Vice President of Customer Experience Pedram Afshar explained that before BlueAssist came, it was a bit more challenging for Best Buy shoppers to get immediate assistance in case they have a question about an item they are currently checking out on the store’s mobile app. If you had questions about an item, you had to either call or send an email. Now, thanks to BlueAssist, Afshar said you instantly get a “helping hand, digitally, without ever having to switch channels.”

BestBuy’s BlueAssist can be easily accessed regardless of what you are currently doing on the mobile app, whether you are browsing items, reviewing your shopping cart or even checking out products. As far as response time goes, BlueAssist chats have been prioritized to receive a response within seconds from an inquiry.
