Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s divorce may not happen anytime soon as neither of them is rushing the separation.
The couple, who have been married for ten years now, is reportedly putting their divorce on hold because there were not talking about it in the past few weeks despite co-habiting in their family mansion. The two are also not filing any divorce papers since their announcement last year.
“Jen mentioned that the divorce was going through very soon, and then a few weeks ago, things changed,” an insider close to the actress dished out to Us Weekly. “It does not seem to be moving in that direction.”
Despite rumors that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner may have settled to put off their divorce, the source of the report said that they are still in love with each other.
“Jen seems to still be in love with Ben but doesn’t allow her mind to go there,” the source said. “She just focuses on the kids.”
On the other hand, Ben Affleck “feels like he can’t live without Jen” and is still believing that they will be together in due time.
“They want their kids’ lives to go on as uninterrupted as possible,” the source said.
The Batman star and the Alias actress are still living under their $17.5 million worth mansion together with their three kids Violet, 10, Seraphina, 7, and Samuel, 4.
Jennifer Garner revealed in Vanity Fair that she sleeps with oldest daughter Violet while the Justice League actor is staying in their guest room.
Despite this, the former couple always sees to it that they give family time for their kids as they wanted their children not to be affected by their divorce. The whole family recently went to Paris to spend time with Ben Affleck as he films his latest movie Justice League.
Last year, the news broke that Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are going for divorce after the actor had an affair with their kid’s nanny Christine Ouzounian last summer.
