For so long, the “Beauty And The Beast” live-action reboot was kept under the veil of secrecy, except for revealing a glimpse of Emma Watson approaching The Enchanted Rose as Belle in a teaser. Now two images of Watson as Belle in the movie have been released online for the patiently waiting fans. However, the verity of the images has not yet been confirmed.
In one of the leaked stills, the 26-year-old actress looks perfect as Belle in a bookshop wearing a white shirt and apron with a blue dress. In the image, Watson is leaning against a ladder and holding books in one hand. In place of the character’s hair tie, she is wearing a blue headband. In the second image, Watson is shown dancing with the beast wearing Belle’s gorgeous yellow gown.
However, it is not clear whether the pictures are real or just a mock up from the “Tale As Old As Time moment,” the Mail Online reported. An earlier teaser trailer released by the Disney, only gave a glimpse of the beast’s castle with Ewan McGregor’s Lumiere saying: ‘What if she is the one?’ Watson could be heard saying “hello” as the door opened before she was seen reaching for The Enchanted Rose.
In another sneak peek released last month, Watson and Dan Evans could be seen going through their lines during a table read.
According to a report by the USA Today, Broadway star Paige O’Hara, who voiced Belle in the 1991 original animated movie, said Watson is the perfect choice for the role in Beauty And The Beast.
“I think that if I were producing that movie, Emma Watson would’ve been my first choice for Belle,” she told USA Today as she spoke about Beauty And The Beast for its 25th anniversary Blu-ray release. “I was just really happy they went with Emma. She’s got the intelligence, she’s got the humor. I think she’s going to be really, really special.
