What's This?

“Beauty and the Beast” will be bidding its goodbye after its season 4 finale. Reports said that the series ended up being cancelled after its low ratings.

The CW series’ season 4 will pick up from season 3’s finale where Vincent, played by Jay Ryan, and Catherine, played by Kristin Kreuk, moved in together.

Amidst starting their new life together, the couple struggled from their past, as season 4 will start with the two trying to stop an attack.

As the characters are said to be willing to do “ultimate sacrifice” to stop the attack, the two are also speculated that they might give up their lives.

In the promotional teaser for “Beauty and the Beast” finale, Vincent and Catherine are comforting each other, while they hugged their friends.

It also showed Vincent and Catherine prepares as firing all over the town starts to take place. In the end, bomb is shown ticking and ended up with an explosion, Movie News Guide said in a report.

Does this mean Catherine and Vincent will die on the season finale of “Beauty and the Beast?”

This might actually be a possibility as TV Line already confirmed the show’s end after four seasons.

The report said the romantic fairy-tale series’ low audience rate might be the reason for its cancellation.

It has averaged 1.6 million viewers and a 0.6 demo rating on its first season. Season three meanwhile gathered 880 thousand and a 0.2, which is far lower than its competition “The Vampire Diaries.”
