The 27-year-old rapper was arrested when a former beauty, Baylee Curran queen called the police claiming that Chris Brown had pulled a gun at her. The incident the alleged victim recounted, reportedly took place at the rapper’s Los Angeles home on Monday evening.
Breezy was later arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, when drugs and weapons were recovered from his house, Page Six reports. His attorney Mark Geragos thanked Breezy’s fans for their support.
According to Baylee Curran she was admiring the diamond necklace of a man who had been showing off his jewelry at Brown’s house. The man got angry and told her to back away, and it was when the rapper pulled out a gun, pointed it at her, and told her to get out.
However, there is a new fact that has come to light in the case. Curran is wanted by the police for questioning in connection with criminal theft. She allegedly stole a designer purse at a swanky hotel, TMZ reports.
The said incident took place when Baylee was vacationing with a few friends at The Plaza in 2013. An argument began among the group of girls and Baylee reportedly snatched a $1,000 Louis Vuitton purse from one of the girls.
According to police docs, Baylee ran out of the hotel with the designer purse. Baylee Curran ran reportedly dropped the purse and ran with the contents and security could not get hold of her.
The contents of the purse included $200 in cash, credit cards and a Michael Kors wallet. This incident could be of significance in the Chris Brown case, as according to the victim herself, it all started with her admiring a piece of jewelry.
Baylee is wanted by NYPD cops, who have a warrant called the I-Card — which will allow them to pick her up and take her to the police station for questioning, if they find her in the city.
However, Baylee’s rep said that she was not aware of the warrant and that her friend was the thief and not her like it has been portrayed. Interestingly, the purse-snatching victim got a restraining order against Baylee from an L.A. judge. Baylee when asked if Brown had his finger on the trigger tells: “I do believe so,” E Online reports.
