The soundtrack of Batman V Superman has been leaked on Amazon UK. It appears that Amazon UK released the soundtracks a little too early as they have quickly removed the samples on their website.
However, the tracks were re-uploaded for individuals to hear. Attack of the Fanboy claims that the Batman vs Superman soundtrack samples only provide people a small preview of the first 13 tracks. There is a deluxe edition coming that features five more songs from the film.
Batman News states that the soundtrack itself is now available for pre-order on Amazon and iTunes, and it will be released on March 18, 2016, a week before the film comes out. Available digitally on CD, 2-disc deluxe CD, and on Limited Edition 3-disc deluxe vinyl.
For the soundtrack, Hans Zimmer worked with Junkie XL, a Dutch multi-instrumentalist and a Grammy nominee. Zimmer has an incredible legacy, and Junkie XL was extremely thrilled when Zimmer approached him to work on Batman v Superman.
The Academy-Award-winning composer reuses themes from Man of Steel, and they are easily recognizable. Junkie XL puts his own spin to the sound and delivers something more menacing to the table.
The soundtrack samples are around 30 seconds each, so individuals will get to listen to over 7.5 minutes of the film’s soundtrack. However, the themes of Batman are way different from The Dark Knight trilogy.
