Several teasers have been released for the upcoming film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and the latest one may have hinted that Justice League is under play. The promotional photo shows Wonder Woman and indicates a Superman villain. On top of that, the latest trailer also introduces the character Doomsday.
Director Zack Snyder for Batman v Superman revealed that Doomsday’s introduction to the screen was already given when Lex Luthor, Wonder Woman, and the rest of the DC Comics heroes were featured in previous promotional teasers.
According to Collider, Snyder said, “To go up against heroes like Batman and Superman, we wanted to introduce one of the DC Universe’s most iconic and powerful villains. He is essentially an unstoppable force. He poses a real threat to the world within the film.”
He added, “You learn pretty early on that Lex is interested in meta-human existence and that there might be some relationship between that investigation and the appearance of Diana Prince.”
