In an unused “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” movie poster, Superman was said to have looked like the villain in the story rather than the protagonist.

Henry Cavill, who plays Superman in the Zack Synder’s movie, was shown with glaring eyes and terrifying look, Screen Rant said.

“The Man of Steel looks more like the villain from a horror film than a superhero and role model,” the report noted.

Meanwhile, Bruce Wayne (played by Ben Affleck), looked equally terrifying in one poster, but fans would surely accept this as the Dark Knight was under disillusionment for 20 years and has been focused on destroying Superman.

“Batman v Superman” Plot

The unused “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” movie posters were uploaded in Reddit, which did not passed as part of the promotional marketing campaign of the movie.

The marketing team might have rejected the posters as it adds to the criticisms that the movie is indeed promoting violence. Despite its profit, critics are quick to judge the overall film’s content has been “too dark.”

Screen Rant also said that this poster might be a teaser for upcoming “Justice League” movies where Superman will show his other side.

One sequence in the “Batman v Superman” movie can be recalled where Batman dreamt of seeing Superman in his most cruel way.

“Batman V Superman” DVD Release Date

In the film, the society is speculating if Superman is really the good guy after he made a lot of damage following his win against his battle with General Zod. Batman, on the other hand, was tasked to lead and destroy the doings of Superman, which led to their clash.

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice will be released on DVD, Blu-ray and Digital HD this summer though there is still no confirmation on its final date.
