There has been a lot going on in the gaming sector these days. Free games, deals, discounts, game updates, and more. Time and again we have made sure that we bring the best in the gaming to you, so that you do not miss even a single offer offered by companies to your respective console. This Banner Saga story is another addition.

The Banner Saga, the game which was supposed to come to consoles in 2015 will now be coming to PS4 and Xbox One on January 12. That’s not even a month from now. The news was shared on the PlayStation Blog, as well as on Xbox News. John Watson, Founder and Technical Director, Stoic on Xbox News said,

“We’ve been hard at work on bringing the game to consoles for a while now, but the process did take some time and presented some unique challenges. We had to ensure that the experience of The Banner Saga remained the same when you were playing at home on a couch with a gamepad in hand, so we spent a lot of time redesigning parts of the user experience to work better on the Xbox and with an Xbox One Controller in hand. We’re all very happy with the way the Xbox One version of The Banner Saga plays while still delivering that great emotional journey for players.”

So now you know why it took so long for The Banner Saga to come to Xbox One, right? In other words, Sony also said the same thing about why the game took so long to come to PS4. As mentioned in the post, Mark Cook and John spent time “narrowing down the specific user experience and ensuring that the Banner Saga experience was true to form.”
