What's This?

Avril Lavigne has shared more updates about her medical condition. The singer who was diagnosed with Lyme disease has been open about it from the beginning. Lavigne’s Lyme disease battle has been popular on social media, and this time, she has announced that she is coming out on the other side.

Avril posted two pictures on Instagram showing her being treated. One of the photos was captioned, “Overcoming Lyme Disease. Feels good to have my Dr. smile and tell me how much progress I am making. I’m coming out on the other side batches.” One picture was taken while she was being treated, and the other one shows her smiling with a round bandage on her arm.

In April this year, Lavigne announced her illness. She said she was bedridden for five months, which means her illness started at the end of 2014. In June, she posted that she is halfway her treatment, and feels she will be 100% fit soon.

In July this year, the singing star appeared on stage once again during the 2015 Special Olympics Opening Ceremony. She then appeared in a Taylor Swift concert as a surprise guest. The duo sang “Complicated,” one of her hits in 2002.

Arvil has been steady throughout her treatment of Lyme disease. She shared updates from time to time with fans. She is overwhelmed with the wishes she received through messages and videos. However, she is not the only celebrity suffering from the disease. Yolanda Foster, 51 and “The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills” star, also suffers from chronic Lyme disease.

Arvil’s Lyme disease was not the only update about the star this year. She announced her separation with her husband Chad Kroeger in September this year. The couple had been married for 2 years without a baby.
