Is Avril Lavigne dead? Reports that the singer has passed away once again resurfaced in the internet saying that she died in 2003.
The “Complicated” singer was once again dragged in a conspiracy theory that has been going on for years now, saying that she died of depression after she released her debut album.
In a blog that talks about Avril Lavigne’s dead conspiracy theory, the singer was found dead in her home after struggling with pressure from her popularity and her grandfather’s death.
Avril is Dead blog reveals that she is replaced with an impostor named Melissa Vandella.
“Avril’s lookalike would have been almost identical, but I said almost!” a Brazilian theorist said in his blog.
According to the blog, the “New Avril” may have been hinting Avril Lavigne is dead in her album “Under My Skin” where it has a couple of songs with cryptic messages.
Moreover, the writer wanted to prove that Avril Lavigne is already dead and was replaced by an impostor through her height which noticeably “shrinked,” The Sun said.
From being 5 ft. 2, Google now says Avril Lavigne is only 5 ft. 1. Her hair and fashion style have noticeably changed.
“A person can grow, but shrinking? Impossible!” the blogger said.
However, the singer’s celebration of her 32nd birthday recently just proved that she is very much alive.
If these dead conspiracy reports are true, one could surmise that the closest reason she could die is due to her Lyme disease.
It can be recalled that Avril Lavigne struggled with Lyme disease, an autoimmune disease, last year.
Early 2016, she said that she is going through rehabilitation and therapy.
She told ET Canada in June that she is taking “baby steps” for her recovery.
“I’m happy to be feeling a lot better and just getting my life back and taking baby steps,” she said.
