What's This?

It came off as a bit of disappointment when it was announced that Attack on Titan Season 2 may still be far from the screens but this does not stop interesting details from springing up. One of the most curious things that people can watch out for is Pastor Nick’s true identity – as for those who cannot wait, the video game is set to release soon so that might make up for the delay.

Previously, the season 2 trailer released for Attack on Titan otherwise known as Shingeki no Kyojin featured Pastor Nick approaching one of the squad leaders and asking her to prevent the titan from getting exposed to the sun.

“Now, you’re going to explain this to me. This titan, what type is it? Why is there a titan in the wall in the first place. And most of all, why have you kept quiet about this,” said Hange Zoe in the video showing titan being covered.

The pastor remained unfazed and about the statement and stayed silent despite threats from Zoe to throw him off the wall. “Killing me will do no good, that is because our life is not precious enough to allow us to speak,” the pastor said.

According to The BitBag, the pastor is known to be a religious leader who was against any wall modification. More importantly, it appears that he did not want anyone discovering the titans in the renovations. Furthermore, the report said that the Pastor appears to have a good knowledge on the titans in the wall. People can expect more details about the character and more secrets about the titans will be revealed.

As for those who were disappointed about the delay, some distraction might do. According to Crossmap, while the Attack on Titan video game was released in Japan last February, US fans should be delighted to hear that it will be released in the region around August 30. As the announcement goes:

“Following a successful launch in its native Japan, the eagerly anticipated action game will be released on August 30th, 2016 across America under the title, Attack on Titan.”
