At Least 50 Injured In Amtrak Train Crash In Philadelphia
On Tuesday night, more than 50 people were reported injured when an Amtrak train derailed in Philadelphia.
Around 238 passengers and 5 crew members were aboard the train.
The incident, which occurred around 9:45 p.m. at Frankford Avenue and Wheatsheaf Lane according to The New York Times, caused eight to 10 cars to roll over, as per reports and tweets.
The train’s last station before it crashed was the Wilmington Train Station.
The cause of the accident has not been known.
The conditions of those injured in the accident have not been released.
