The latest news on “Arrow” season 5 suggested that “big changes” are about to happen. Ironically, the new season might open with Team Arrow’s end.

While it has been hinted that a division within Team Arrow is expected to happen during the season 4 finale on May 25, many fans could have been thinking now as to how such plot would develop further and affect the run of season 5.

In an interview with TV Guide, co-showrunner Wendy Mericle revealed that the final episode of the fourth season, entitled “Schism,” would be “a good clue” of where the upcoming season is heading to.

“We talked about Season 4 as a soft reboot and I think Season 5 will see some big changes on the show,” she shared about the TV series “Arrow.”

Considering the fact that the Black Canary was stabbed by Damien Dahrk (Neal McDonough) and the superheroes have been looking for the best way to deal with and eventually defeat the villain,  Mericle disclosed that the “internal battles” will result to “some dramatic decisions” which the audience will find out during the finale.

“Thea (Willa Holland) had bloodlust earlier in the season and since then has been questioning her place on the team, and questioning whether or not she is Speedy, which goes back to her character’s struggle with whether she’s more of a Queen or a Merlyn,” she dished about the prelude episode for “Arrow” season 5.

“She’s going to answer that question in [the finale] and come up with, what we hope, is a pretty surprising answer,” she added.

In the meantime, Screen Rush reported that the upcoming season of the CW superhero show would see the return of Colton Haynes as Roy Harper.

“I get to come back on a few episodes of ‘Arrow’ next year,” the 27-year-old former “Teen Wolf” actor reportedly declared.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the actor left the series before because of health reasons.

“I asked to step away because I cared more about my mental and physical health than my career at the time,” the rumored returning cast of “Arrow” season 5 said.

I must admit the show is entertaining but these are the most stupid super heroes. Instead of killing or putting the bad guys. They will just punched them and left them so well, they came back later and start another fight – oh like creating problems for a nuke that killed several hundred thousand people. Why not kill the enemies if it means saving millions of people. The story line is just moronic.
