Ariana Grande May Be Steven Spielberg’s Next Big Thing, Thanks To SNL
Ariana Grande may be the legendary filmmaker Steven Spielberg’s next best thing! The director allegedly took interest on the singer/actress when she did vocal impressions of the music industry’s leading female vocals in SNL’s Monday episode. What has the director planned for her?Advertisement
Ariana Grande delivered an epic performance in “Saturday Night Live” last Monday when she did vocal impressions of lead singers such as Celine Dion, Britney Spears, Shakira, Rihanna, and Whitney Houston.
As reported by Page Six, after Grande’s impressive and comedic performance at SNL, she allegedly caught the attention of legendary filmmaker, Steven Spielberg. In fact, it was revealed that Spielberg sent Lorne Michaels, the creator and television producer of “Saturday Night Live,” a message commending her for a job well done, especially when Grande delivered a superb performance.
In other news, People reports that Grande also aced an a-cappella performance of her upcoming single, “Dangerous Woman.” The video was released last Monday wherein Grande was seen wearing a latex suit, laughing when she vocally impersonated guitar strums.
During an interview on “Elvis Duran and The Morning Show” last Tuesday, Grande revealed, “To get into my ‘Dangerous Woman’ outfit they were like, ‘Okay, time to lube you up!’ and I was like, ‘Excuse me?’ and they were like, ‘Yeah! We gotta lube you up to get you in!'”
She added, “I was like, ‘Wait are you serious?’ And there wasn’t any latex prep bottle – it was literally full-on lube! It said on the bottle, full-out lube. So they lubed me up and put me in! It was the funniest thing in the whole world.”
Grande has been acting during the past year when she joined the cast of “Scream Queens.” In fact, she has received several acting offers, according to a source, but she would like to focus on her music at present, it seems.
Can Steven Spielberg change Ariana Grande’s mind about focusing on acting in the future? Will he offer her a lead role after the filmmaker was impressed with her SNL performance?
