Amber Heard’s schedule for Aquaman and Justice League seems to be happening as planned. The actress is currently in London training for her role as Mera in Zack Snyder’s movie.
Recently, it was revealed that the filming of Aquaman will take place in Australia. Furthermore, other sequences will be shot in Warner Bros. studio Leavesden. It has been speculated that the mysterious actor to play Black Manta will be arriving in Australia for filming as well.
According to the Daily Telegraph AU, Amber Heard will be returning to Australia for her filming schedule. Earlier, the actress caused controversy by breaching biosecurity laws of the Australian government. The Daily Telegraph digital editor also tweeted the news. Check it out below.
While Heard is receiving mixed responses due to her feud with Johnny Depp, the actress still managed to receive a stamp of approval from DC fans for her role as Mera. Fans are worried that Heard’s recent issue with the Australian government would cause problems with her visa application.
The Australian Department of Immigration and Border Protection was contacted by the Daily Telegraph yesterday. But they were declined an official statement on the issue and was told, “The Department does not comment on individual cases.”
DCEU’s Aquaman has been confirmed to be under the direction of James Wan. Furthermore, the movie won’t be released until July 2018. So far, Warner Bros. has revealed Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry and Aquaman in a cameo in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, as well as in the recent Justice League teaser trailer.
Amber Heard will be playing the Atlantean queen Mera alongside Aquaman.
