We are waiting for our mobiles to turn into payment systems. The mobile wallet, while new in the market, is taking its time to reach us. Though slow, companies are choosing brands that have a customer base to introduce their mobile payment system to. Apple Pay has been doing the same.
Apple Pay has been launched in Canada for American Express customers. Right now, only owners of thenew iPhones and Apple Watch will be able to use this service. Here are the stores where you can make payments with Apple Pay:
Apple Pay will also be accepted by other NFC-equipped terminals. On iOS 9.1, you can find Apple Pay in the Wallet App. The American Express card can be added manually by tapping on “Add Credit or Debit Card” option. You can also choose to scan your card. In the UK, the service was launched with support from 8 major banks, American Express, NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland, First Direct, Nationwide, HSBC, Santander and Ulster bank. Rumors say that even in Canada Apple is in talks with some of the well-known banks. Here is the list of those banks:

Moneris, Canada’s largest payment processor, has also announced support for Apple Pay. This mobile wallet is looking to partner with American Express in Hong Kong, Spain and Singapore in 2016.
