Apple will be hosting a new product launch event on September 9, which will see the multinational technological company unveiling new iPhones and other gadgets.


The much-awaited Apple iPhone 6S is expected to be revealed at the event, which is set to take place at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, San Francisco. The month of September has seen Apple hosting events to launch new iPhones.

The invitations sent out to reporters and analysts read, “Hey Siri, give us a hint.” The new versions of iOS for iPhones and iPads are expected to be equipped with upgraded capabilities of the voice-activated personal assistant, Siri, as reported by

While there is little knowledge about the upgrades that will feature in the new gadgets, Force Touch – a technology has previously appeared on the Apple Watch and newer MacBooks – is expected to make an arrival. The new feature can detect how hard the user is pressing on a touch-sensitive screen, depending on which different information will be displayed.

Chinese technology site cnBeta recently revealed pictures of packaging of the iPhone 6S. In the picture, one can see the new iPhone with a Butterfly Koi, one of the new set of animated wallpapers to feature in the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus.

The new version of Apple TV will have a faster processor, updated interface and application store.

The event will also see the release of the updated version of the operating system of Apple Watch, WatchOS, as reported by San Jose Mercury News. The new version of the OS will allow applications to run on the device instead of a connected iPhone. Several other upgraded capabilities will also feature in the updated version.
