What's This?

After a long wait, Apple has confirmed an iOS update for two of its phones – iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

Gone are the days when it was difficult for a 16GB iPhone and iPad users to install iOS updates. iOS 9 is for everyone. But yes, you will need to have 1.3GB free space on your device for this new update. This is acceptable. At least now, 16GB devices won’t run on the same old operating systems for ages.

iOS 9 updates for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will come with a feature that will automatically reinstall and delete applications to make space for this update’s installation. The best part is, for the next update, you will not have to reinstall it or do anything manually.

When will iOS update release?

Rumors are that iOS 9 update’s release date and features would be announced on September 9 in the iPhone 6s event. Considering Apple’s update release history, Apply may even release the update two days before the iPhone 6S event.

Right now, you can try iOS 9 beta. Yes, it’s a beta version so you cannot expect it to offer you the best features the final update will be having. Still, this beta version is much better than what Apple’s previous beta versions were. If you switch to the beta version and feel unhappy, you can always switch back to iOS 8.4.1 update. There is no harm in trying.
