Android 6.0 Samsung Problems
It has always been a problem for OEMs to catch up whenever there are Android updates released. Take for example, the Android 6.0 update. Even after a few months since the launch, companies are still working on delivering the update to all intended devices. As per recent reports, devices such as Samsung Galaxy S7, Galaxy S6, Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy Note 4 are still currently being updated, but some users are already reporting problems.
According to a report from SamMobile, Samsung Galaxy S7, Galaxy S6, Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy Note 4 users are now having issues with their fingerprints and passwords. It appears devices updated to the firmware are not accepting the mentioned user credentials. The problem is not affecting all users, but there have been enough complaints that the issue has drummed up attention online.
For users who need to update their devices but don’t want to experience the same problem, one advice is to remove the password and fingerprint login prior to update installation. However, for those who already updated and got locked out of their devices, they can simply log into findmymobile.samsung.com to unlock their devices. For those who do not have a Samsung account then taking up the matter to Samsung customer support would be the next best move.
Note 4 Android Update
