When the devices with Android M finally comes to the market, this operating system will be introduced with lighter themes. Yes, the dark themes that were tested in the Android Marshmallow preview will be skipped from the final version as they are not considered to be eye-friendly. Users who had downloaded the first preview, upon noticing that the dark themes are no more available in the second developer preview, requested the team to bring them back. One of the members from the developer team said in response to all the requests that the theme might be introduced in the future, but not with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
