Amkette has just introduced an upgraded version of the Evo Gamepad Pro which they had launched last August. The upgraded Evo Gamepad Pro 2 version came after seeing the success that its predecessor has enjoyed, reports Tech Vorm.Advertisement
Amkette’s Gamepad Pro 2 has been upgraded with an improved clamp for easy, safe and convenient docking of a smartphone. It has specifically improved trigger and bumper buttons to provide softer control so that the consumers will have an enhanced user experience. The device also now includes multimedia keys for easier volume control during game play.
One of the key features that were introduced to Evo Gamepad Pro 2 is the addition of the “sleep mode” after eight minutes. This mode ensures that battery draining is avoided when the device is not in use. A single button is also added to make it easy to change between the mouse and the gamepad. This is to give the user easy access to their phone between their games.
The Gamepad Pro 2 device can be paired with the Evo Gamepad App which has been loaded with over 400 new games and can provide an unmatched gaming experience. According to Tech Nuter, Evo Gamepad Pro 2 was designed to allow users to play their favorite games on-the-go for a long periods of time, lessening the chance of hurting their fingers.
Amkette’s new Evo Gamepad Pro 2 is specially designed for Android devices controlling it via Bluetooth with a range of five meters. Android Central reports that the Evo Gamepad Pro 2 is exclusively available on Amazon India at 2,599 INR or about $38 USD. It comes with a tablet stand micro-USB charging cable, quick start guide and app guide. It is powered by a 400 mAh Lithium Polymer battery.
According to Amkette Director Rajiv Bapna, they have received great response for the company’s original Evo Gamepad Pro. It has become a huge success with smartphone gamers. The upgraded Evo Gamepad Pro 2 has some enhanced features and has a potential to become a necessity for Android gamers.
Bapna also mentioned that smartphone gaming in India has been evolving. Last year there were over 120 million Indians that have called themselves “mobile gamers.” And with the latest releases of enhanced gaming devices and newly released games this year, the number is bound to increase.
The original Gamepad Pro was released last year in August reports NDTV. It was sold exclusively on Flipkart for 2,799 INR.
