Following the confirmation of the FX anthology horror series’ seventh season, many of its fans might have been eager to know if a new season after it would still arrive.
As its co-creator, Ryan Murphy, teased about the “secret season” he is currently cooking, could it be a confirmation that “American Horror Story” season 8 is indeed coming?
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the showrunner revealed that an experiment, which still does not have a release date, is on its way.
“I’ve been working with a writer on a season that only he and I know,” the 50-year-old screenwriter, director and producer dished. “It’s like a two-year project that we’ll continue to work on the sly and not tell anybody.”
“I don’t know when it will [air] but it’s also an experiment. It’s a different way of doing it,” he added. “It’s one person writing all episodes. I don’t know if it’s going to work but it’s like, well, let’s try that.”
He, however, hinted that they “might get them done and shoot them on the sly and drop” the speculated American Horror Story season 8.
In the meantime, Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow and “American Horror Story” actress Sarah Paulson only had good words for Ryan Murphy, Entertainment Weekly shared in a separate report.
The 43-year-old actress, who has been playing the role of Pepper Potts in several “Iron Man” films noted that the “AHS” showrunner’s “greatest skill” is his “big idea.”
Meanwhile, the 41-year-old actress, who has been playing different characters from the first to the sixth season of “American Horror Story,” narrated that “He’s got this laser-like ability to pinpoint exactly what the thing is people want to be seeing.”
Is this the same kind of think that Ryan Murphy is presently using as he prepares for the “secret season” of “American Horror Story”? Is season 8 really coming? That is something that every fan must watch out for.
