Thommy Ten and Amelie van Tass are not your average couple as they share more than just a romantic bond between them. They can apparently read each other’s minds! This exceptional ability left the judges on America’s Got Talent 2016 awestruck.
The couple mentioned that they had begun performing for their parents and friends, who loved their acts. Before they knew it, they were performing in schools, colleges and parties. Calling themselves “The Clairvoyants,” a name which is pretty much self-explanatory, they did not need to describe what they were about to perform, letting actions speak louder than words.

After making it clear that none of them were hiding any sort of earpiece or video camera inside their attires, Thommy went to invite Heidi Klum on stage with her handbag, reports 2Paragraphs. A blindfolded Amelie sat graciously on a high swing as Thommy asked Heidi to pick out a random object from her handbag and quietly hand it to him.
As soon as the object was in his right hand, he placed his left hand in Amelie’s and what happened next left everyone mystified. Amelie not only guessed the object correctly – in this case, a lipstick – but also stated the number of the lipstick shade!
Things got freakier as Thommy went to a random person in the audience and held that individual’s mobile phone in hand. Amelie not only figured out the make and model of the phone but also its network provider!
America’ Got Talent 2016 Judges
As if the judges weren’t convinced enough, Thommy walked up to Howie and held his eye drops tightly in his palm, only to have Amelie guess the object plus its expiration date correctly!
“I have to say I have been here for seven years. That is the most amazing thing I have ever seen. I have eye drops. I don’t know what the expiration date is,” said Howie in disbelief.
By the end of the mind-blowing performance, Simon Cowell, who is usually hard to impress, could not contain his feeling of shock, reports Daily Mail.
“There is only one explanation. You are a witch,” Simon told Amelie. “It’s like being in Bewitched. It’s the most amazing feeling. You have magic powers.”
In an interview with The Sydney Morning Herald, the couple mentioned, “American people are so ‘wow’ with everything and they want to be part of the act. In Europe, people are a little more shy. In Australia they are more skeptical, which is very interesting for us.”
It will be interesting to watch what other secrets this magical couple has in store for the audience on America’s Got Talent 2016!
