Amazon Prime Expands One-Hour Delivery To 2 Cities, Now Offers Restaurant Delivery, Too

Online retail giant, Inc. is taking delivery very seriously. Recently, the company announced that it has expanded its one-hour Prime Now delivery service to the Bay Area. This means there will be more Prime members who can receive fast delivery of everyday items such as milk, ice cream, toiletries or even electronic gadgets like Kindle devices and laptops.


Amazon Prime customers who are located in most San Francisco, Palo Alto, Silicon Valley and San Jose neighborhoods like Potrero Hill, Mountain View and Cupertino can now take advantage of Amazon’s one-hour delivery service. Moreover, Amazon Prime Now already offers both 1-hour and 2-hour delivery services to various areas, including Manhattan & Brooklyn, Baltimore, Atlanta, Miami, Dallas, Austin, Houston, Indianapolis, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, San Francisco, San Jose, and San Antonio. What’s more, Amazon Prime Now has an ongoing promo where new customers can get $20 off their first order when they make a purchase of $50 or above by entering the code “GETITNOW” at checkout.

Meanwhile, Amazon Prime Now is also offering food delivery service using its mobile app in Portland. In fact, Prime Now can readily take a customers orders from a number of local restaurants and food carts in the area and have them delivered to the customer’s door in around 39 minutes. Participating food and dining establishments include Pok Pok, Sizzle Pie, Waffle Window, Seres Restaurant, Luc Lac, East India Co Grill & Bar, Kim Jong Grillin’ and more. Delivery on all orders is said to be free for a limited time.

Online shoppers can take advantage of Prime Now services by subscribing to Amazon Prime. The annual membership fee is $99 a year.
