Amazon Adds 4,000 New Items For Prime Now One-hour Delivery In Time For The Holidays
Amazon is getting more and more confident about how Prime Now can deliver in one hour or less. Recently, the online retailer has announced that it is adding 4,000 more items to the list of goods its Prime Now service can do one-hour deliveries on just in time for the holidays.Advertisement
For customers, this means that if you badly need something, Amazon Prime Now can get to you soon as possible. That may be additional supplies for your holiday baking or beer, wine or Starbucks Vanilla Frappuccino. It may also be gift items you have no more time to shop for. Or it just might be the big television you did not treat yourself to during Black Friday. The whole point is, Amazon wants to save you a trip to the store during the holidays, so they’re getting you your package as soon as possible instead.
In Manhattan, where Amazon first launched its Prime Now delivery service, Amazon says it can now deliver wine, beer and spirits in the area. Moreover, Prime Now Worldwide Director Stephenie Landry also says customers in Manhattan will also be able to order from more local stores and restaurants including Eataly through Prime Now. Meanwhile, Amazon Prime customers in Chicago can now order from Plum Market, My Fit Foods and Sprinkles Cupcakes.
Today, Prime Now is available to Amazon Prime members who reside in Atlanta, Austin, Baltimore, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Indianapolis, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Manhattan, Miami, Minneapolis, Nashville, Orange County, Phoenix, Portland, Sacramento, San Antonio, San Francisco, San Jose, San Diego, Seattle and Richmond.
