Amanda Seyfried and her boyfriend of six months Thomas Sadoski announced their engagement on Monday. Seyfried was spotted wearing a delicate engagement ring on her finger at a jaunt on Tuesday as she raised her hand to run through her hair.
Seyfried and Sadoski met last year as they co-starred in the play ‘The Way We Get By.’”During that time Seyfried, 30, was dating Justin Long and Thomas, 40, was married to Kimberly Hope. Seyfried and Sadoski began dating while shooting for ‘The Last Word” which is expected to release later this year, the Mail Online reported.
The “Mean Girls” star had earlier revealed what she doesn’t want to wear on her wedding day.
“I got married so many times in my life—onscreen!” Amanda Seyfried was quoted as saying by the E! News last year. “I don’t want a white dress! I’ve worn so many of them.”
She added, “The fact is, that kind of stuff is less about the ceremony and more about the commitment. So it’s like children. That’s where it’s at, right? For me. But it’s different for everybody.”
Thomas and Hope have been married for eight years before they divorced last summer.
Sadoski is known for his role as Don Keefer in “Newsroom.” He has also starred in the CBS comedy, “Life In Pieces,” the Mail Online reported. “Life In Pieces” premiered in September 2015 and also stars Colin Hanks and Betsy Brandt.
In 2009, he bagged a Tony Nomination for the Best Lead Actor in a Play for Neil LaBute’s “Reasons To Be Pretty,” according to a report by Broadway.com. Since then he has appeared on Broadway in plays that included ‘The House of Blue Leaves” and Sam Mendes’ “As You Like It’”and “The Tempest.”
