Alexis Arquette AIDS: Transgender Actress Suffered For Years?

“Alexis was living with AIDS and he had an inoperable tumor and he had developed an infection. I was told that went to his liver and throughout his body,” said Dupont.
He made a shocking revelation that her near and dear ones knew the fact of her AIDS. They were prepared for her to die from it for more than a decade.
So, the activist battled with the life-threatening disease for over 20 years. However, fans of the actress were shocked to find out her AIDS secret.
According to Dupont Alexis contracted the HIV virus in the early 1990’s. “At the time it was a death sentence, so she lived her entire life as if every day was her last.”
The painful fact about Alexis Arquette was that she refused to accept that she had the virus. She also refused to take medication of the times.
Dupont said that her family members tried to force her to take medicines, but she would lie about it. “She wanted to believe that she did not have it because she thought that if she did, the world would turn against her,” he said.
Alexis worked as an artist and lived in an Actors Fund home in West Hollywood for people with HIV and AIDS and hated it. Alexis’s former boyfriend revealed that people into her apartment, which she didn’t like as she never did alcohol or drugs.
Robert Dupont told that Alexis Arquette knew that she would die one day due to AIDS. However, reps for the actor have not commented.
