According to Nike, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG will be available in “Metallic Navy” edition, which is officially listed as the White/Midnight Navy colorway of the shoe. This edition is one of the first seven metallic colorways of the Air Jordan 1 model, which was released on the sneaker market in 1985.
Like all the colorways included in the original metallic collection, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Metallic Navy” features simple form and appearance. It has a white-based upper part, including the laces and tongue.
This edition also sports midnight navy Nike Swoosh and Air Jordan Wings logo on the side panel along with the Nike Air branding on the tongue. One more Nike Air branding can be found on the white insole. This classic-looking sneaker was finished off with a white midsole and midnight navy outsole.
“The simple make up of this Air Jordan 1 is reminiscent of the simple style of shoes worn by professional basketball players in 1985,” Nike said in a statement. “The elegant white upper is complimented with midnight navy on the inner, tongue, wings logo, Swoosh and outsole.”
