The long wait to stream Adele’s 55 is over. Seven months after the “Hello” singer dropped “25,” she has released the third studio album to start streaming.
When is Adele’s 25 Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal and Amazon Prime release date? June 23 midnight is the date, which is just a few hours to go, according to Billboard.
This is a huge deal since Adele has only allowed three songs for streaming since the album “25” was dropped on Nov. 20, 2015.
The hits “Hello,” “Send My Love (To Your New Lover)” and “When We Were Young,” were made available to the delight of fans, but to have the whole album available on Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal and Amazon Prime will certainly be a great boon.
Adele also had a lackluster view of the value of streaming so to have her finally decide to stream is great news indeed. I believe music should be an event… I know that streaming music is the future, but it’s not the only way to consume music. I can’t pledge allegiance to something that I don’t know how I feel about yet,” she said in her Time interview last year.
Adele’s previous two albums, “19” and “21,” were made available on Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal and Amazon Prime too and did so well on their number of streams. Nothing short is expected for “25.”
To make 25 available on Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal and Amazon Prime is likely to boost the album further. Even if it was not allowed for streaming, Adele already managed to break multiple source records.
Just on its first week alone, the album “25” already sold 3.38 million copies. This is no small feat, as this is this the biggest single-week sales tracked since Nielsen Music starting sales data in 1991.
To date, Adele’s “25” has also been atop the Billboard 200 for 10 consecutive weeks already!
