It has only been weeks since Adam Levine, 37, and his wife Behati Prinsloo, 27, welcomed their daughter, Dusty Rose. But the singer has already been accused of child abuse after an anonymous tipster called up LAPD’ Juvenile division on October 12 and claimed that the singer has struck Prinsloo and hit the infant in the face.
The tipster also allegedly said that Adam Levine had struck Prinsloo so hard that she fell to the ground.
The Hollywood Reporter reported that when the law enforcement officers visited Levine’s home for investigation, they found nothing that could be explained as a sign of domestic violence or child abuse. They were able to speak to Levine’s model wife and could not find any visible injury on either her or the four-month-old child.
After a thorough investigation, the investigators found that the claims made by the anonymous tipster were false. To Levine’s friends, it would be unfair to concede to the common belief that being in the public eye sometimes makes one vulnerable to false, atrocious allegations.
However, Adam Levine is of a different opinion and understands that stardom sometimes attracts false allegations. The TMZ reported that, the Voice coach “appreciates and respects the LAPD” and is glad that it was able to prove the claims were completely untrue.
There will be no further probe into this matter and the entire investigation has been closed.
A couple of days back Prinsloo uploaded a full length image of herself in front of a mirror to Instagram before heading out with her girls for the first time since giving birth, the Yahoo News reported.
“After 3 weeks of breastfeeding every 3 hours, no sleep and nursing my nipples back to life lol, I left the house to see my girls for dinner. Life is so beautiful, can’t believe how lucky i got,” she captioned the image on Instagram.
