9 Exciting DC & Marvel TV Series Renewed This Year

Since San Diego Comic-con is just days away from us, fans are excited to hear news on DC & Marvel TV shows renewed for the year. Recent reports have confirmed that short trailers will be played during the panels. These are the shows fans can expect for 2016.



While Gotham’s season 3 renewal was confirmed a while ago, earlier this week, the studio decided to release a promo poster, teasing the Court of Owls storyline. Season 3 episode 1 will be premiered on September 19.

Luke Cage

Luke Cage is one of the most anticipated announcements at SDCC’s Marvel panel. A concept art is also available, so click here. The series will be released on September 30 on Netflix.


Marvel’s Daredevil has been known to have stolen the limelight from Arrow on its initial release. The TV show has been building a lot of anticipation with its teaser trailer. The show’s second season will premiere on March 18.


DC’s Arrow concluded with the team breaking into pieces induring its season finale episode. While Arrow has already conquered his worst of the worst villains, Damien Darhk, what can we expect for season 5? Find out on October 5.

The Flash

CW has titled The Flash season 3 first episode as “Flashpoint.” There are also new pictures of Kid Flash in his speedster costume. Will Zoom/Reverse Flash be the rival again in season, 3 or would it be someone worse? Find out on October 4.


After coming close to cancellation with CBS, The CW has taken up Supergirl in hopes of reviving the series and helping it reveal its potential to DC TV fans. Moreover, it looks like Superman will be tagging along with her cousin during tough times. The show’s season 2 episode 1 will premiere on October 10.

Legends of Tomorrow

There have been lots of speculation, saying The Flash, Arrow & Supergirl will appear on Legends of Tomorrow; the biggest crossover in The CW! Moreover, events in the series could correct the course of events in other shows as well. Fans can expect season 2 episode 1 on October 13.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D

Fans have been digging all over the internet to find out theories that could answer one question” who has taken up the role of director for S.H.I.E.L.D.?  We’ll find out on September 20.
