Kevin Spacey, the nominee for the 68th Emmy Awards’ Best Actor in a Drama Series for his portrayal in “House of Cards,” has so much to offer in the upcoming season 5.

How would his character, President Frank Underwood, evolve in the new season? Would he don a Donald Trump, or show off more of Hillary Clinton-like stance?

How about the country, would it finally experience real peace that is free from fear of being abducted? Would terrorism finally end?

“President Underwood would willingly stand behind Donald Trump — in order to push him in the right direction,” the 57-year-old actor shared.

Was he saying that Donald Trump is not doing the right thing?

In the Netflix series, Kevin Spacey’s President Underwood is a Democrat, while in real life, the 70-year-old father of Ivanka Trump is a Republican. Do you think this has something to do with his opinion?

While he hinted that his role can never be likened to the opponent of Hillary Clinton, USA Today noted a number of similarities between him and the controversial politician.

Accordingly, both of them have a common “distaste for the media, a tendency towards outrage, and a totally ruthless desire for power.”

Would Kevin Spacey’s character continue to demonstrate these traits in “House of Cards” season 5?

When his co-stars were asked about his possible move should he be pitted against Donald Trump in the Presidential election, they were one in suggesting that the latter would not want it to happen.

“I think he would just kill him!” Constance Zimmer quipped. “I think he’d just off him. That’s clean. He’d just finish him.”

This was supported by Neve Campbell by saying that President Underwood would get violent.

With the show somehow reflecting the political landscape of the United States, would “House of Cards” season 5 see Kevin Spacey’s character sashay his inner Donald Trump in the show? Would there be a change of direction in its plot, especially with the departure of Beau Willimon?

While talking to Buzzfeed, the actor had this to say, “The writers room is the same writers that we had in Season 4. Nothing has changed in terms of the quality of work that we are going to be doing.”
