“Shameless” is a comedy series which revolves around the activities of the Gallagher family, led by Frank Gallagher (William Macy), who is the dysfunctional head of the family and a deadbeat, alcoholic father of six children. Macy has won a Screen Actors’ Guild Award for his performance on the show, reports TV.
The episode from “Shameless” that has been forwarded to the Emmys this year, for the consideration of William Macy’s performance, is titled “I Only Miss Her When I’m Breathing”, which is the Season 6 Premiere of the show.
According to Gold Derby, the synopsis of the episode reads: “Maura makes a new friend and has a rude awakening at the music festival; Sarah experiences liberation from an unlikely source; Ali makes an unexpected journey to the past.”
William Macy is American actor, screenwriter, and director, who has won an Academy Award for his performance in the film “Fargo”. He has also won two Emmys for playing the character of Bill Porter in the 2002 movie “Door to Door”, reports Emmys.
William Macy has an exceptional acting career with Box Office hits such as “Magnolia”, “Jurassic Park III” and “Pleasantville” under his belt.
