It looks like HBO has the opportunity to bag more than one Primetime Emmy this year. The TV series Silicon Valley has been nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Comedy.

The show won its first Emmy in 2015 for Outstanding Production Design for a Narrative Program as well as Outstanding Single Camera Picture Editing for a Comedy Series. Furthermore, the series was also nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series last year, but lost to sister show Veep.

The two-time Golden Globe nominee will once again be competing against Veep this year. However, both HBO series face challenge from Modern Family, Transparent, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Black-ish and Master of None.
