A three month old infant and four others were injured in a shooting incident in southeast Houston late last night.
The victims of the incident – which occurred on Idaho Street near Yellowstone, according to the police – were struck in the gunfire. As reported by abc13.com, all five victims were transported to the hospital and have sustained non life threatening injuries. A woman carrying the baby fled the scene to a safe area to call 911.
The Houston Police Department said they had responded to a call of the drive by shooting at 9 p.m. The incident erupted in the 5100 block of Idaho. Detectives, who were at the scene, said they did not know whether the victims were inside the houses or outside. A brief description of two suspect vehicles, a dark colored SUV and a white Ford F-150 pickup truck, has been released by the police, KHOU reports.
