What's This?

Snapdragon 820” and “Microsoft Lumia” are both the talks of the town right now. There is no harm in saying that these two are trending topics.

While Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL are still new, the next Lumia smartphones are already creating buzz.

We already know that most of the phones releasing next year will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 820 chip, the most powerful chip designed till date. What’s so special about this upcoming chip? The company claims that the chip is “designed to support superior DSLR-quality photography” with “enhanced computer vision.” You can say that the Snapdragon 820 is going to change the face of smartphones forever.

Microsoft has not yet confirmed the news, but with a chip that strong, only high-end phones would come bundled with it. And we are aware of Microsoft’s pricing now. The company’s current focus is the enterprise section. So this latest rumor seems to be logical as the next Lumia smartphones might also be priced high to afford to bring the latest technologies to future devices.

It’s not just the upcoming Lumia phones. Many other brands are going to try this chip in 2016. Very few smartphones have been powered by this chip, but these devices were said to be overheating. Whether or not it was the chip’s fault, no one is still sure.

The upcoming smartphones are designed to keep the needs of the advanced technology in mind. So by next year, we may have phones that are more powerful than we are witnessing now.
