What's This?

Apple is expected to release a new set of MacBook Pro models this year, with more details surfacing up more than ever. According to reports, Apple is creating a new line of MacBook Pro products with killer features, including faster processing ability, OLED touchpad panel, and slimmer builds. Will the new MacBook products be a killer?

Faster MacBook Pros

Apple’s MacBook Pro could be a laptop of dreams if latest news would come true. According to reports, Apple wants the laptop line to be faster than it already is. The reason for this is that the Cupertino-based giant is will likely incorporate Samsung’s freshly introduced memory chip technology called NVMe PCIe SSD.

According to Yibada, the package is comprised of “48-layer 256-gigabit (Gb) V-NAND flash chips, one 20-nanometer 4GB LPDDR4 mobile DRAM chip and a high-performance Samsung controller” that will be incorporated into one ball grid array (BGA) that can offer faster and more improved performance. The best part is that even with that kind of power, it has reduced footprint.

In order to put this into better terms, transferring a Full HD (1080p resolution) movie to the new MacBook Pro will only require around six seconds. Additionally, the BGA NVMe SSD is also five times smaller the size of the present flash drive that Apple uses in its existing MacBook Pro models.

Thinner Builds and OLED Panel

Earlier reports said that Apple is gearing up for the “most significant update ever” of its line, and it looks like it will be shaping up to be one.

According to Gotta Be Mobile, Apple could include a magic keyboard. The new MacBook Pro could also include an opening at the top that will most possibly feature an OLED touch panel to manage a range of functions. The touchpad appears to be bigger compared to the existing model. Previous photos of the upcoming device also show that the next laptop will be slimmer. However, as with other tips and leaks, all information should be taken with a grain of salt.
