Despite the fact that he is finally out of rehab, it appeared that some parents are still afraid of the presence of “19 Kids and Counting” star Josh Duggar.
In Touch Weekly reported that while the 28-year-old television personality and his father, Jim Bob Duggar, were seen bonding at the Old MacDonald’s Farm mini-golf course in Sevierville, Tennessee, the people around them looked uncomfortable.
“Three families with young girls were unhappy Josh was so close to them and left the golf course when they saw him and Jim Bob,” an eyewitness reportedly shared with the news outlet.
The source further narrated that Josh Duggar’s presence caused other guests not to feel comfortable in the venue anymore.
“The parents were not comfortable,” the unnamed source added. “The staff tried to be as polite as possible to the angry parents, but it seemed there was little they could do to stop Josh from being a customer.”
Amid the alleged situation, the insider stated that “I don’t know if Josh and Jim Bob were aware of the problems their presence was causing at the mini-golf course.”
Josh Duggar and his family were reportedly in town to attend the homeschool graduation of Carlin and Trace Bates, the stars of “Bringing Up Bates.”
It can be recalled that last year, the reality TV star admitted to have molested five young girls when he was still a teenager.
Meanwhile, his sister, Jessa Duggar, shared on the April 26 episode of “Jill & Jessa: Counting On” that she was glad to note that her family is stronger now, according to Us Weekly.
“I am so thankful that after a really difficult year, my family is stronger than ever, and going on this trip is really a testament to that,” she quipped.
In the said episode, it was disclosed that Josh Duggar’s family was about to go on long trip to Central America to visit Derick Dillard, Jill and their son, Israel.
